History

Helen began her legal career in Innisfail, Far North Queensland, working at a local firm of solicitors. She later moved to Brisbane to continue her life journey, working in various legal firms before settling into a role working with a group of Barristers at a City location. This experience was instrumental in giving Helen a solid grounding in Queensland litigation and court processes.

Driven by a desire to be close to family, Helen returned to Far North Queensland where she continued her career working in a legal office. For a short time, she worked in the construction industry and then in body corporate management but ultimately returned to the legal industry working in off-the-plan conveyancing and cottage conveyancing. An opportunity then became available to join a national legal firm in their Word Processing Department which drew Helen into the world of typing and transcription.

Helen’s love for the spoken language and love of typing has honed her transcription skills to peak performance. Her commitment to providing high-calibre, professional service to the legal and medico-legal professions is what led her to launch her own transcription service: AH Transcription Service. Helen’s extensive experience in fast-paced office environments, her adeptness with a keyboard, and her understanding of what is expected in producing a polished and professional product every time set her apart from her competitors.
